My Process
Encaustic painting has recently become my passion. It is ancient with a rich history. The first works date back to Greece 5th century BC. It is dangerous. Torches and razor blades are my primary tools to manipulate the molten wax that is nearly 200°. It is wholesome. The substrates are recycled or foraged renewables. The paint is beeswax, tree sap, and natural pigments. The results are immediate and often unpredictable.
It all begins with an idea.
Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Maybe you want to launch a business.
Make it stand out.
